Fair Park (Circuit)
Fair Park, a temporary street circuit in Dallas, Texas, hosted a single Formula 1 Grand Prix in 1984. Known for its incredibly hot and humid conditions, the race was a significant physical challenge for drivers and a test for machinery. The circuit's bumpy, low-grip surface around the Cotton Bowl stadium and State Fairgrounds made it a unique, if short-lived, addition to the F1 calendar. It marked one of the few instances Formula 1 ventured into the heart of an American city.
