Circuit de Pedralbes
The Circuit de Pedralbes, a street circuit in Barcelona, hosted two Formula 1 World Championship races in 1951 and 1954. Its fast, sweeping nature, encompassing wide boulevards, presented a unique challenge to drivers and their machinery. The circuit's temporary nature and urban setting were characteristic of early Grand Prix racing, showcasing the raw speed of cars directly within city limits. Though short-lived in Formula 1, Pedralbes remains a significant part of Spain's early motorsport heritage, representing a bygone era of street racing.
