Pescara Circuit

The Pescara Circuit, a formidable and dangerous 25.5 km street course, holds the unique distinction of hosting a standalone Formula 1 World Championship race in 1957 – the only time this venue was part of the calendar. Winding through towns and along the Adriatic coast, its extreme length and challenging mix of fast straights, sweeping curves, and tight village sections made it a true test of driver skill and bravery. This one-off event remains a fascinating, if brief, chapter in F1 history, epitomising the raw and perilous nature of early Grand Prix racing.
