Sepang International Circuit

Located near Kuala Lumpur, the Sepang International Circuit quickly established itself as a benchmark for modern Formula 1 tracks upon its debut in 1999. Designed by Hermann Tilke, its wide, flowing corners and two long straights presented a unique challenge, demanding a blend of aerodynamic efficiency and engine power. Sepang hosted 19 Formula 1 Grands Prix, becoming a popular venue known for its challenging tropical climate and dramatic races until its final Formula 1 event in 2017.
