F1 Report

Apollon

Apollon was a short-lived Formula 1 constructor that appeared only briefly during the 1970s. Hailing from Japan, the team entered a single Grand Prix in 1977, the Japanese Grand Prix, with a single car. Despite their limited participation, Apollon represents a unique, albeit minor, footnote in Formula 1 history as one of the many privateer efforts to attempt to break into the sport during an era of significant technological development and burgeoning international interest. Their car, the Apollon Sonic, did not qualify for the race, marking the team's sole, unsuccessful attempt.
