Lyncar

Lyncar was a British constructor with a brief, yet notable, presence in Formula 1 during the mid-1970s. Founded by Martin Slater, the team primarily competed in Formula Atlantic and Formula 2, designing and building its own chassis. Their sole Formula 1 entry came at the 1974 British Grand Prix with John Nicholson at the wheel of the Lyncar 006. Despite failing to qualify on that occasion, the Lyncar name remains a testament to the era of independent constructors attempting to challenge the established teams.
