Tec-Mec

Tec-Mec was a short-lived Italian constructor founded by Valerio Colotti, known for his chassis design work with Tecno. Their sole Formula 1 entry came at the 1959 United States Grand Prix, where Fritz d'Orey attempted to qualify their single car. The Tec-Mec F.415, powered by a Maserati 250S engine, proved uncompetitive and failed to start the race, marking the team's only appearance in the championship. Despite its brevity, Tec-Mec represents another ambitious, albeit unsuccessful, privateer effort from Formula 1's early years. The constructor participated in 1 races, achieving no wins, podiums, or titles.
