Eugène Chaboud
Eugène Chaboud was a privateer entrant in the formative years of the Formula 1 World Championship, having already competed extensively in sports car and Grand Prix racing before 1950. A two-time winner of the Bol d'Or endurance race, his World Championship appearances were limited to his home French Grand Prix in 1950 and 1951, driving his own Talbot-Lago. Though he retired from both events, Chaboud's participation underscored the era's blend of established pre-war talent and emerging championship structures.
