Martin Donnelly
Martin Donnelly was a promising talent whose Formula 1 career was tragically cut short. After an impressive debut season in Formula 3000, he joined Arrows in 1989 for a handful of races before securing a full-time drive with Lotus in 1990. Despite the team's struggles, Donnelly often outperformed his machinery, showcasing a raw speed and aggressive style. His career ended abruptly at the 1990 Spanish Grand Prix due to a horrific crash, from which he miraculously recovered, though never raced in F1 again. Donnelly competed in 15 Grands Prix, but his potential suggested a much longer and more successful tenure.
