Parnelli

Parnelli, an American racing team founded by Velko "Vel" Parnelli, competed in Formula 1 for a brief period in the mid-1970s. Known for their striking VPJ4 chassis, designed by Maurice Philippe, the team brought USAC racing expertise to the Grand Prix scene. Despite their limited appearances, Parnelli demonstrated potential with their innovative engineering and achieved a best finish of fourth place. The team ultimately withdrew from Formula 1 due to financial constraints, having participated in 16 races.
