Giancarlo Baghetti, often referred to as "Beretta" by some owing to his sharp shooting-like precision, holds a unique place in Formula 1 history for his extraordinary debut. In 1961, he achieved the unprecedented feat of winning his first-ever championship Grand Prix, the French Grand Prix, driving for Ferrari. This remarkable victory, following two non-championship race wins earlier that year, solidified his reputation as a formidable talent.
