Bahrain International Circuit

The Bahrain International Circuit, located in Sakhir, has been a staple of the Formula 1 calendar since 2004, hosting 22 Grands Prix, including the season opener in many recent years. Designed by Hermann Tilke, its layout is characterized by long straights and tight braking zones, demanding strong engine power and excellent traction. The desert setting often brings challenges like sand on track, while night races under floodlights add a unique visual spectacle. It has cemented its place as a reliable and often thrilling start to the F1 season.
