Le Mans (Circuit)
The original Le Mans circuit, a lightning-fast road course, hosted the French Grand Prix in 1967. While the full 17-kilometre Circuit de la Sarthe is synonymous with the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race, a shorter, permanent Bugatti Circuit was constructed within its grounds. This 4.185 km layout briefly welcomed Formula 1 in 1967, offering a unique blend of high-speed straights and tighter, more technical sections compared to its legendary endurance counterpart. Despite its limited F1 tenure, Le Mans remains an iconic name in motorsport history.
