Cooper-BRM
A fascinating, albeit brief, union of British racing power, Cooper-BRM represented a curious chassis-engine partnership in the early 1960s. Primarily seen in privateer hands, the combination paired Cooper's revolutionary rear-engined chassis with BRM's powerful, if sometimes temperamental, engines. While not achieving the front-running success of the works teams, it demonstrated the adaptability of Cooper's design and provided a competitive, accessible package for several independent entries. This collaboration contributed to a total of 21 Grand Prix starts.
