Johnny Servoz-Gavin
Johnny Servoz-Gavin was a versatile French driver whose career was tragically cut short. A protégé of Jean-Pierre Beltoise, he made his F1 debut in 1967 and quickly demonstrated raw speed, famously driving a four-wheel-drive Matra MS84. Despite a limited number of starts, he secured one podium finish and showed the potential for greater success. His career ended abruptly after a severe off-road accident in 1970, which permanently impaired his vision and forced his retirement from racing. Servoz-Gavin competed in 12 Grands Prix, achieving 1 podiums.
