Matra

Matra, a French aerospace and defence company, entered Formula 1 in 1966, quickly establishing itself as a formidable force with its distinctive V12 engine. Their unique, often highly aerodynamic designs captured attention, and with Tyrrell running their works efforts, they achieved significant success. Matra's peak came in 1969, securing the Constructors' and Drivers' Championships with Jackie Stewart and the Matra MS80, becoming the only French constructor to win the title. Despite their relatively brief F1 tenure, Matra left an indelible mark, demonstrating exceptional engineering prowess and securing 0 victories and 6 podiums in 71 starts.
