Watkins Glen (Circuit)
Watkins Glen International, nestled in New York's Finger Lakes region, hosted the United States Grand Prix from 1961 to 1980. Renowned for its challenging high-speed sections and dramatic elevation changes, "The Glen" quickly became a driver favourite. Its unforgiving nature led to many memorable races and championship deciders. While no longer on the F1 calendar, its legacy as a true driver's circuit endures, having hosted 20 Formula 1 World Championship events.
