Clay Regazzoni
Clay Regazzoni, the fiery Swiss-Italian, was a fan favourite throughout the 1970s for his aggressive, no-nonsense driving style and charismatic personality. Making his debut with Ferrari in 1970, he quickly established himself as a front-runner, securing his first victory in only his fifth Grand Prix. A versatile talent, he competed in 138 races, achieving 5 wins and 28 podium finishes across multiple teams, including BRM, Ensign, and Shadow. His career was tragically cut short by an accident at the 1980 US Grand Prix West, but he remains an enduring symbol of courage and passion in Formula 1 history.
