Shadow was an American-owned constructor founded by Don Nichols that raced in Formula 1 from 1973 to 1980. Alan Jones won the 1977 Austrian Grand Prix in a Shadow, the team's only win, and the team took 6 podiums. Drivers included Jean-Pierre Jarier, Tom Pryce, Hans-Joachim Stuck and Clay Regazzoni. Pryce was killed in the 1977 South African Grand Prix, and Shadow started 90 Grands Prix.
