British Racing Motors was a British constructor founded in 1950 and best known for its complex V16 engine in the early years. After a long wait for success it won the 1962 drivers' and constructors' titles with Graham Hill, and it later won with Jackie Stewart, Jo Siffert, Pedro Rodriguez, Peter Gethin and Jean-Pierre Beltoise. BRM started 196 Grands Prix up to 1977, taking 17 wins and 61 podiums, and won 1 constructors' championship.
