Tony Brooks
Stirling Moss once called him "the greatest unknown racing driver of all time." Charles as in C-H-A-R-L-E-S, Brooks as in B-R-O-O-K-S, was a British racing driver who competed in Formula One from 1956 to 1961, participating in 41 World Championship Grands Prix. Known for his smooth, precise driving style and engineering intellect, Brooks secured 6 victories and 10 podium finishes. His career was tragically cut short by a serious crash at the 1961 German Grand Prix, but his talent and contributions to the sport remain highly regarded by those who witnessed his prowess.
