Reims-Gueux (Circuit)
Reims-Gueux, a high-speed, triangular circuit in France, hosted Grand Prix racing on 11 occasions between 1950 and 1966. Formed by public roads, its defining characteristics were incredibly long straights, demanding absolute top speed from engines and bravery from drivers. The circuit's flat, open nature offered superb visibility for spectators, but its lack of challenging corners meant it was less a test of downforce and more a pure power circuit. Iconic slipstreaming battles were commonplace, particularly in its later years, making races at Reims-Gueux thrilling spectacles decided by sheer grunt and strategic drafting.
