Ron Flockhart was a Scottish driver who raced in Formula 1 between 1954 and 1960, mainly with BRM, and also with Maserati, Connaught, Cooper and Lotus. He finished third at the 1956 Italian Grand Prix, his only podium, and scored points in two championship seasons. Flockhart took part in 13 Grands Prix. He is best remembered for winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans for Ecurie Ecosse in 1956 and 1957, and he was killed in a plane crash in 1962.
