Jean Behra

Jean Behra, a fiery and tenacious French driver, competed in 57 World Championship Grands Prix. Known for his aggressive driving style and sheer determination, he often extracted the maximum from his machinery, regardless of its capabilities. Behra achieved 9 podium finishes and 0 pole positions during his F1 career, driving for various teams including Gordini, Maserati, and BRM. His passion for racing extended beyond Formula 1, as he was also a successful sports car and motorcycle racer. Behra's career was tragically cut short in 1959 during a sports car race at the AVUS circuit.
