Gordini

Amedee Gordini's eponymous team, often dubbed "Le Sorcier" (The Sorcerer), brought a distinctive French flair to early Formula 1. Primarily known for their engineering prowess with Renault engines, Gordini competed for 102 races between 1950 and 1956, often against better-funded outfits. Despite limited resources, their cars were noted for their innovative, if sometimes fragile, designs. Though they never secured a victory, Gordini's spirit of ingenuity and passion for motorsport left an indelible mark on the sport's formative years.
