André Simon was a French driver who raced in Formula 1 between 1951 and 1957 in a mix of cars, including Simca, Ferrari, Maserati and Gordini. He took part in 11 Grands Prix, and his best result was sixth place at the 1951 Italian Grand Prix, which did not score points. He also made a one-off appearance for Mercedes in 1955, joining the works team at the Italian Grand Prix. Simon never scored a championship point.
