Simca

Simca, a prominent French automaker, had a brief but intriguing connection to Formula 1 through its engine development. While never entering as a full constructor, Simca engines powered Gordini's efforts in the early 1950s. This collaboration saw Simca provide the four-cylinder powerplants for the Type 16 and Type 32 cars.
