Johnny Claes was a Belgian driver who raced in Formula 1 between 1950 and 1955, mainly in Talbot-Lago, Gordini, Connaught and Maserati cars. His best result was seventh place at the 1950 Monaco Grand Prix, and he took part in 23 Grands Prix in total. Claes was also a successful rally driver, winning the 1953 Liege-Rome-Liege Rally with a Lancia. He died in 1956.
