Roberto Mieres was an Argentine driver who raced in Formula 1 between 1953 and 1955, first with Gordini and then with a Maserati. He took part in 17 Grands Prix, and his best result was fourth place at the 1954 Swiss Grand Prix. He scored points in five races and finished eighth in the 1955 championship, a result that made him one of the leading Argentine drivers of the time alongside Juan Manuel Fangio and José Froilán González.
