Chris Irwin was a British driver who raced in Formula 1 in 1966 and 1967 with Brabham, BRM and Lotus. He took fifth place at the 1967 French Grand Prix at Le Mans for two championship points and entered 10 Grands Prix in total. A serious crash in a Ford sports car at the Nurburgring 1000 km in 1968 ended his racing career.
