Tyrrell
Founded by the shrewd timber merchant Ken Tyrrell, this British team competed from 1968 to 1998, becoming a cornerstone of independent F1 racing. Renowned for their innovative engineering, including the iconic six-wheeled P34, Tyrrell captured three Drivers' Championships and one Constructors' title. While their later years saw less success, Tyrrell's legacy as a plucky, intelligent competitor with 23 wins and 77 podiums across 881 races remains firmly cemented in Formula 1 history.
