Stefan Bellof was a German prodigy whose brief Formula 1 career hinted at immense potential. Known for his aggressive, all-out driving style, he impressed many in his rookie 1984 season with Tyrrell, notably setting the fastest lap at Monaco in treacherous conditions en route to a third-place finish before the race was red-flagged.
