Derek Daly

Derek Daly, an Irish racer, competed in Formula 1 during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Known for his resilience and adaptability, he drove for several privateer teams and established constructors alike, navigating the demanding F1 landscape of the era. Despite often being in less competitive machinery, Daly started 64 Grands Prix, demonstrating a determined driving style. His career also included success in sports car racing, notably at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and in IMSA.
