Mark Blundell
Mark Blundell carved out a solid, if unspectacular, Formula 1 career in the 1990s, often demonstrating impressive speed when given the machinery. Debuting in 1991, he competed in 63 Grands Prix, securing 3 podium finishes. His aggressive yet smooth driving style earned him respect, particularly during his stints with Ligier and Tyrrell, and he notably outqualified his highly-rated teammate Mika Häkkinen at McLaren in 1995. While a Grand Prix victory eluded him, Blundell found significant success in sports car racing, including an outright win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1992.
