Adelaide Street Circuit
The Adelaide Street Circuit, a temporary facility, hosted the Australian Grand Prix from 1985 to 1995 as the final race of the season for many years. Its challenging layout, combining high-speed sections with tight chicanes and close concrete walls, was unforgiving and often decided championships. The circuit became synonymous with dramatic season finales, including Alain Prost's final career win in 1993 and the infamous 1994 collision between Michael Schumacher and Damon Hill. Adelaide's passionate crowds and vibrant atmosphere firmly established the Australian Grand Prix's place on the F1 calendar before its move to Melbourne.
