Benetton Formula was the team formed when the Italian clothing company Benetton bought the former Toleman team in 1986. With drivers such as Gerhard Berger, Alessandro Nannini and Michael Schumacher, it won 27 Grands Prix, and Schumacher took the drivers' titles in 1994 and 1995 as the team won the 1995 constructors' title. The team started 260 Grands Prix with 102 podiums, and was sold to Renault at the end of 2001, to become Renault in 2002.
