Ricardo Rosset is a Brazilian driver who raced in Formula 1 in 1996 and 1998, entering 26 Grands Prix with Footwork and Tyrrell. He arrived with strong backing from sponsors, and his best result was eighth place at the 1996 Hungarian Grand Prix, outside the points. A planned 1997 season with the new Lola team collapsed when the car failed to qualify for the season opener and the team withdrew. He scored no championship points in his Formula 1 career.
