Jochen Rindt

Jochen Rindt was Formula 1's only posthumous World Champion, a testament to his electrifying speed and raw talent. Known for his aggressive, often sideways driving style, he embodied the swashbuckling spirit of his era. After making his debut in 1964, he competed in 62 races, securing 6 wins and 13 podiums before his tragic death during practice for the 1970 Italian Grand Prix. His Lotus 72, a revolutionary but fragile car, carried him to the brink of his 1 title, which he was awarded retrospectively, forever cementing his place in motorsport history.
