Charade Circuit
The Circuit de Charade, nestled in the Auvergne mountains of France, was a challenging and highly regarded natural road course. Its undulating layout, with numerous blind corners and elevation changes, earned it comparisons to the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Hosting the French Grand Prix 4 times between 1965 and 1972, its narrow, winding nature eventually proved too dangerous for modern Formula 1, leading to its departure from the calendar. Despite its short F1 tenure, Charade remains a legendary circuit known for its demanding character and scenic beauty.
