Ludovico Scarfiotti
Ludovico Scarfiotti, a scion of the Fiat industrial dynasty, was a gentleman racer whose brief but impactful Formula 1 career was largely intertwined with Ferrari. Known for his versatility, he also excelled in sports car racing, famously winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1963. His sole Formula 1 victory came memorably at the 1966 Italian Grand Prix, making him the last Italian to win his home race for Ferrari. Scarfiotti competed in 13 Grands Prix, securing 1 win and 1 podiums before his tragic death in a hill climb accident in 1968.
