De Tomaso was a car maker founded by the Argentine-born Alejandro de Tomaso that raced in Formula 1 in 1962, 1963 and 1970. In 1970 Frank Williams entered De Tomaso cars for Piers Courage, who was killed in the car at the Dutch Grand Prix, and Tim Schenken and Brian Redman also drove them. The team's best result was tenth place at the 1970 Monaco Grand Prix, and it started 8 Grands Prix.
