Rudi Fischer was a Swiss driver who raced a Ferrari in the 1951 and 1952 Formula 1 seasons, entering 7 Grands Prix. He did it from his own Ecurie Espadon team and was a surprisingly successful privateer. He finished second at the 1952 Swiss Grand Prix at Bremgarten, his home race, and added another podium that year, ending 1952 fourth in the World Championship with 10 points. He retired from racing at the end of that season.
