Bob Sweikert was an American driver who won the 1955 Indianapolis 500, which counted towards the Formula 1 World Championship in the 1950s. That win gave him a single championship victory and a seventh place in the 1955 standings. He entered the race 4 times between 1952 and 1956 with Kurtis Kraft and Kuzma cars. Sweikert was killed in 1956 in a sprint car crash in Salem, Indiana.
