Fondmetal
Fondmetal, an Italian alloy wheel manufacturer, entered Formula 1 in 1991, acquiring the remains of the financially troubled Osella team. Despite their enthusiasm, the squad largely struggled for competitiveness, often failing to qualify for races. Their brief F1 tenure, marked by various chassis and engine combinations, saw them participate in 42 Grand Prix, but they never scored a championship point. Fondmetal withdrew from Formula 1 mid-season in 1992, unable to sustain the financial demands of the sport.
