Ricardo Rodríguez was a Mexican driver who made his Formula 1 debut with Ferrari at the 1961 Italian Grand Prix, aged just 19, making him one of the youngest drivers to start a World Championship race. He raced a Ferrari through 1961 and 1962, and his best result was fourth place at the 1962 Belgian Grand Prix, one of 5 Grands Prix in his short career. Considered a future star and the younger brother of Pedro Rodríguez, he was killed in practice for the non-championship Mexican Grand Prix in 1962.
