Brothers Ricardo and Pedro Rodríguez stand as Mexico's most celebrated racing drivers, their tragically short careers leaving an indelible mark on motorsport. Ricardo, the younger and arguably more prodigious talent, debuted for Ferrari at just 19, becoming the youngest driver at the time to start a Championship Grand Prix. Known for his fearless, almost reckless speed, he was considered a future world champion before his fatal accident at the non-championship Mexican Grand Prix in 1962. Pedro continued their legacy, developing into a versatile and respected endurance and F1 driver, securing 0 Grand Prix victories for Cooper and BRM before his own untimely death in 1971.
