Onyx was a British constructor that raced in Formula 1 in 1989 and 1990, run by Mike Earle until the Belgian businessman Jean-Pierre van Rossem took control. Stefan Johansson took third place at the 1989 Portuguese Grand Prix, its only podium, and drivers also included Jyrki Jarvilehto and Bertrand Gachot. Onyx started 17 Grands Prix and scored six points before it left the sport during 1990.
