Eliseo Salazar is a Chilean driver who raced in Formula 1 between 1981 and 1983 for March, Osella, Ensign, ATS and RAM. He entered 24 Grands Prix, many of which ended in failures to qualify, and scored points in two races, including fifth place at the 1982 San Marino Grand Prix. Salazar is also remembered for a collision with race leader Nelson Piquet at the 1982 German Grand Prix, after which Piquet confronted him at the trackside. He later raced in American open-wheel series.
