Spyker
Spyker's brief foray into Formula 1 in 2007 marked a curious chapter in the sport's modern history. Emerging from the ashes of Midland F1, which itself had been Jordan Grand Prix, the Dutch car manufacturer aimed to establish a presence but struggled for competitiveness. Despite introducing a distinctive orange livery, the team competed in 34 races under the Spyker name, managing to score a single point at the Japanese Grand Prix. The financial realities of Formula 1 soon caught up, leading to the team's sale and rebranding as Force India for 2008.
