Circuito de Jerez

Circuito de Jerez, located in southern Spain, first hosted Formula 1 in 1986, quickly becoming a popular fixture on the calendar. Known for its flowing layout and excellent visibility for spectators, it provided a challenging yet rewarding experience for drivers. The circuit hosted the European Grand Prix and Spanish Grand Prix a total of 7 times, often producing dramatic season finales, before its last F1 race in 1997. While no longer on the F1 calendar, Jerez remains a key test venue, particularly for pre-season running, due to its reliable warm weather.
