Pedro Lamy is a Portuguese driver who raced in Formula 1 between 1993 and 1996, first for Lotus and then Minardi. He took one point with sixth place at the 1995 Australian Grand Prix, his best finish in 32 Grands Prix. A heavy testing crash at Silverstone in 1994 left him with serious leg injuries and ended his time at Lotus. He later enjoyed a long career in sports cars, winning class honours at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
